TEST DRIVE MEME!
The ship has made a stop at a city-planet to acquire some supplies-- and just everyone's luck, it's one of those wonderful mostly-lawless places where you can do or get pretty much anything. About the only thing the local government seems to frown on is outright murder, though it's quickly apparent that most of the planet's places of business include some rather heavily-armed security to deter thieves and other ne'er-do-wells. Still, it's a chance to get away from the zombies and breathe some non-recycled atmosphere for a while...
Scenarios:
#1: Screw that, I'm staying on board.
Just what it says on the tin. Your character has some plans now that the ship's mostly cleared of both unwilling passengers and zombies.. the Master might even be away! Time for a little reconnaissance behind locked doors?
#2: All work and no play makes Jack something something.
Unhappily for you, you were given a mission on-planet that you should probably try to complete before you go have fun... well, unless you want to get your air supply cut off or any of another thousand yucky things. Thankfully, you just have to pick up that really big palette of mysterious crates watched over by those really big unsmiling dudes.. or was it that other big stack of crates?
#3: Well it's not technically illegal.
There's something on-planet-- money, technology, shinies, whatever your character's heart desires. Only problem is, you can't seem to acquire it by normal economic activities. Ocean's Eleven in Space, anyone?
#4: The chips are down.
It's Space Vegas. Your character is gonna go have a look at the space casinos, or take in a space MMA battle, or whatever other ridiculous thing you can think of on a planet where you can do pretty much anything you can afford... and you've got just enough in credits or barter to cash in...
#5: Wild card! Choose your own adventure!

Wow, it's official. Arty really is starting to train her. She's going to need to fix that sometime soon...
"I didn't know if it was Earth-techy, or something else. And the last time I messed with a communicator, Doctor Doom almost blew up Univille." Okay, so...not totally her fault. She still blames whoever thought up the IRS cover job.

He laughs some at a realization.
"That sounds a lot worse in Basic Than Standard. Uh, well, There's a really famous alien scientist who's named Space Starry Azimuth who, well, they get their name from their Element, Clan, and then a personal name related to the Element, and it's named after him and his element. Hero and Genius are the same word in Standard, so Heroic means it is quite high in it's caliber of learning. The used a human-designed chassis though, so I guess I'm still Earth-Techy in that regard."
MDR tended to ramble given a chance.

"Sorry to disappoint, but while I do have a lot of quite possibly wrong ideas of the future, no real famous aliens come to mind in such a way." But this only means she's going to need to find a way to get said information, somehow. Maybe there's something about how Warehouse thirteen and up are doing...all she can hope is that no AI's were in charge.

"Sorry, I'm rambling again. I was actually walking around to auto-map the place. If you'd like to come with me, we can talk and I can share the map specs with you."
no subject
"Yeah, sure. That could help me out later. This seems like a bad place to get lost." And he can probably deal with those zombies...hopefully.

"I'm already magnetic. Oh, right. Understand. Hrm... artifacts I know are just old techs of great power or imbued with psychic strength. Big one that I know about is the Imperial Garment. First Emperor made it and it vastly improves the vitals of any human that wears it. Though you have to subdue the AI and be human, so it's not the easiest thing to get wearing. First Emperor was supposed to be a cool dude though. Alexey Vlamdirnov. Or something." He knocks on his head as he wanders the halls, seeming to have no direction.
Then again, he had a gun bouncing as he was moving about. Good reason not to get too bothered.

"That's...different. Though I can say there's an artifact like that. Spine of the Saracen. Used to make warriors unstoppable in a battle. Using up all of the adrenaline, boosting muscles to increase strength, and all that. Bad side? You kinda die eventually...We had to kind of destroy that one."
Just wandering is fine by her. She's been figuring it out since she got here...on and off. It's really just a more confusing, and less helpful version of her phone...though better than the Farnsworth. She's already found a way to draw, and is crudely making a map.

"I think it might help to know what time Earth is when you're from. Help figure out what kind of stuff you'd know and what i'm just repeating."

...
She has nothing. "The great year that the government finally announced Area fifty-one actually existed." Yep. Nothing.

"Then again, 2013 was 220 years before I was built though."
